Signs of spring’s arrival are seen in some of Seattle’s most bashful areas as winter slowly, but steadily has been cracking bits of sunshine along the Pacific Northwest’s usual blanket of clouds and depression.
Today, for example, I saw a patch of flourishing dandelions and my eyes swelled as I absorbed the radiance of the striking yellow along the cracks of city concrete.
I thought I’d share this observation to tie into a picture I ironically found later this afternoon in my apartments storage unit. While bustling through dusty, old boxes of untouched childhood memories.. I was trying to find my collection of Barbie dolls the “around the world” series. All of which were gifts I received each Christmas as a child– none of which I was allowed to open. A bit torturous of my parents to do to a kid like me at the time but beneficial to my ETSY shop where I get to sell these mint condition, vintage pieces of novelty goods.
Anyway, I ended up finding a scrapbook of a few things I wrote and drew as a child. About half way through an album I found this picture that I drew in the 2nd grade:

I was a bit shocked at the thought of my chances finding this photo after finding some dandelions earlier — and noticing them.
Tune into ETSY shops new listings though! I just listed a bunch of cool things I think a lot of you would find interesting!
